Howie Mandel Talks About Mental Health Stigma

Stigma is a negative stereotype. Sometimes, stigma attached to mental health conditions is so strong that people who suspect they have a mental health concern will not seek help for fear of what others may think.
 
How do you really feel about someone with mental health issues? How does stigma effect how you see yourself or your situation?
 
In today’s Wellness Wednesday post, we hear from our very own Canadian, comedian, Howie Mandel about his struggle with a mental health condition and how stigma impacted his view of himself.
